    For some things, size does matter Once you go with a large TV, it’s hard to go back to a smaller unit! This thing is HUGE. With viewing distances under 10 ft., 80 inches may be overkill. DirecTV/cable broadcasts that are heavily compressed do not look that great on the TV due to the artifacts, especially when seen up close. For things like Netflix and Blu-ray, they look great even from around 8 ft.Right now, 4K TVs are not worth the cost of admission, especially when there is so little media available that support 4K at the moment. So instead of spending $12k+ for a large 4K TV, you may as well enjoy this TV for a few years, then upgrade to a 4K unit when there’s enough content to support it and the TVs come down in price.As far as the variations between the different Sharp models, I went with the 650 based off of negative CNET reviews of the higher Qurattron models.
