    For some things, size does matter Once you go with a large TV, it’s hard to go back to a smaller unit! This thing is HUGE. With viewing distances under 10 ft., 80 inches may be overkill. DirecTV/cable broadcasts that are heavily compressed do not look that great on the TV due to the artifacts, especially when seen up close. For things like Netflix and Blu-ray, they look great even from around 8 ft.Right now, 4K TVs are not worth the cost of admission, especially when there is so little media available that support 4K at the moment. So instead of spending $12k+ for a large 4K TV, you may as well enjoy this TV for a few years, then upgrade to a 4K unit when there’s enough content to support it and the TVs come down in price.As far as the variations between the different Sharp models, I went with the 650 based off of negative CNET reviews of the higher Qurattron models. The color accuracy on the 650 is not perfect, but it’s certainly good enough, especially for the price point (and size). With a…
