The PT598AS is our premiere home theater package. It includes a 5.1 channel home receiver with built-in AM/FM radio, two ¼” mic inputs, USB/SD card inputs for digital music playback, and 350 watts of output power, plus four surround speakers, a center channel speaker, and a subwoofer. That’s 5.1 channels of power, all included. With the receiver, store up to 12 presets. Adjust the mic volume control, treble, and bass. Inputs for 3 stereo RCA appliances. 2 channel speaker output. VFD display shows station frequency. Short circuit, thermal, and overload protection keeps your equipment secure.

    Great price but older technology I purchased this because it was a great price for a 5.1 surround system. When I received it, I was impressed by everything it contained. It has speaker wire and speaker mounting brackets included. It is a handsome unit (if rating on looks alone, it would get 5 stars) and I was looking forward to hearing it. Sadly, I found out that this unit only has component RCA type inputs. If you have any newer technology as I do, which requires your receiver to have HDMI or optical inputs, you are out of…

    not as advertised This product was a huge dissapointment. It has the quitest 350 watts I have ever heard. My speaker system rated at 200 watts is louder and clearer than this system. They also glued rocks on the inside of all the speakers to make them feel heavier. The Main component itself has a very loud fan that is annoying when at lower sound levels, such as at night. I would not recommend this system to anyone. Had I not been on military assignement when it arrived I would have sent it back.I…

    Great price, but ultimately dissapointing. I’ve bought & enjoyed Pyle products in the past, but this one ranks low on the list. First off, the cooling fan. Runs noisily & all the time when system is on standby. Have to completely power-down system to turn it off. A SERIOUS design flaw, especially when it’s in your living room. Secondly, even with the 6 speaker package, it sounds like the whole mess is in a coffee can. REALLY tinny & depth-less. Speaker package is nice, except for the sub, which had wood glue smeared all over the black…
